Keepin' It Cozy

This winter has been a particularly mean one and makes for a time consuming layering process before venturing into the frigid outdoors.  I was not blessed with a tolerance for below zero temperatures nor a talent for winter sports, so to get from point A to point B without turning into a icicle (or loosing my mind), I bundle up in the warmest, fashionable accessories I own.  Here are some of my affordable favourites to keep you cute and cozy…

Faux fur ear muffs are a fun way to stay warm.  Choose any colour or an animal print to add a point of interest to your outdoor outfit.  I found my pair for $28 at Mendocino.

A chunky knit circle scarf (or eternity scarf) is a great way to add some colour and a lot of warmth.  This cozy piece can be found at Urban Outfitters for $34.

Adding a little bling is always an easy way to spice up your look.  This fantastic toque is on sale at Club Monaco for $59.

These Lauren Ralph Lauren two toned gloves are the perfect way to keep your hands warm, even when texting!  The leather pads on the thumbs and fingers work on any touch screen.   Get them on sale at The Bay for $46.50.

Aldo Accessories has a great selection of this knit headband in many colours.  Can't decide what colour to choose?  Don't be afraid to get a couple, they are only $12!

A classic print is a timeless way to make a statement.  The Wilfred Etoile Scarf for $68 comes in many colours and is large enough to wear as a shawl.  So wrap yourself up and face the cold in style.
